2016 Powershares Series

Big name tennis icons are headed to MS!

 

    PowerShares Champions Showdown is coming to Landers Center in Southaven April 22. The 2016 PowerShares Series is a competitive tennis circuit featuring legendary tennis icons and world-renowned champions Andre Agassi, Pete Sampras, Andy Roddick, John McEnroe, Jim Courier, Michael Chang, James Blake, Mark Philippoussis and Mardy Fish. Roddick, McEnroe, Courier and Philippoussis will be playing at Landers Center in Southaven. The 12-city tour of one-night tournaments is played in major arenas from April-December. At each PowerShares Series event fans will enjoy a one-night tournament featuring three exciting matches between the four participating players. Two one-set semifinal matches will be played with the winning semifinalists facing off in the finals moments after the completion of the second semifinal. In addition to the actual match, tickets can be purchased for the “Ultimate Fan Experience” giving people the opportunity to actually hit with the pros for an hour, attend the player party and go backstage with the players and walk them out on the courts for the match.

 
    Jim Green of Southaven has partnered with The Tennis Foundation Of Misssissippi and agreed to have a portion of the ticket sales go directly to the Foundation.
