Board Volunteer Application

The Mississippi Tennis Association Nominating Committee will be looking to fill the Executive Officer positions for the 2023-2024 term. Also, Four Area Director positions from the East Central, Northcentral, Southwest & the Gulf Coast will also be turning over in the 2022-2023 term. And then the Delta, Northeast, Jackson & Pinebelt t for the 2023-2024 term. Current Area Directors from these four areas (serving out a current term for those positions) who are interested in being reelected will need to send in the Volunteer Form if they wish to be considered for another term.

Please use this form for Officer positions and if you are in one of the above mentioned 2023-2024 four areas, and would like to join the USTA Mississippi team, please complete the application below so that we may best utilize your skills and knowledge while providing you with a positive volunteering experience. Volunteers are the key to the success of USTA Mississippi. We welcome volunteers in many different capacities. Each volunteer is appreciated and necessary to grow the game of tennis in Mississippi. A new President, officers and Board members are selected every two years (next cycle will occur at the end of 2022) and committees are appointed at that time for a two year term.  The eight Area Directors, serving on the board, alternate areas every two years, with four selected with the President and other officers, and four selected the following year. This call for applications involves these four positions.
