10 & Under Scoring Format
10 and under leagues and tournaments use modified scoring formats to shorten match times. These shortened scoring formats allow for kids to play multiple matches in a short period of time, so they get to play a range of players of different ability levels.
For 8 and under, best of three games with the first to seven points winning the game.
For 10 and under, best of three sets with the first to win four games winning the set. For the third set, the first player to win a seven-point tiebreak wins the match.
