For the second year in a row, Northeast Park Tennis Center in Meridian, Mississippi has been selected by the USTA to host a US Open Family Day & Watch Party—the only venue in the USTA Southern Section chosen for this exciting national event!

Thanks to a $10,000 USTA grant (up from $4,000 last year), this year's celebration will be bigger than ever. Enjoy a full day of tennis, entertainment, and family fun, including:

• On-court drills and match play for all skill levels
• Off-court games and challenges
• A US Open Watch Party
• Face painting and temporary tattoos
• Promotional giveaways
• Cookout, beverages, and live music
• A serving speed challenge with a radar gun
• A special celebrity appearance

This event is designed for all ages, with activities ranging from a ball toss for toddlers to beginner clinics for youth and adults, as well as match play opportunities for more experienced players.

Pete Mazella, who has led the center since 2020, says attendees can expect a fun-filled day of tennis, games, live music, face painting, and a US Open watch party both indoors and outdoors.
