USTA MS Announces Host Cities for 2026–2027 League State Championships!

JACKSON, MS – USTA Mississippi is excited to announce the host cities for the 2026 and 2027 League Tennis State Championships. After a competitive bidding process, six outstanding tennis communities have been selected to welcome thousands of players from across the state for these premier events.

"We are thrilled to partner with so many fantastic tennis communities across Mississippi for our 2026 and 2027 State Championships," said Donald Jones, USTA Mississippi Adult League Committee Chairman. "The selection of six host cities is a testament to the passion for tennis throughout our state. The exceptional facilities and dedicated local support from each host will ensure a first-class experience for our players."

The USTA Mississippi League State Championships are the culmination of the league season, where teams compete for a state title and the opportunity to advance to the USTA Southern Sectional Championships. These events are a significant driver of economic impact for the host communities, bringing in players and their families from all corners of Mississippi.

2026 Championship Schedule

  • 18+ State Championship: Ridgeland & Jackson; June 5-7.
  • 40+ State Championship: Oxford; June 19-21.
  • 55+ State Championship: Tupelo; May 15-17.
  • 65+ State Championship: Meridian; April 17-19.
  • 70+ Multi State Invitational: Vicksburg; October 9-11.
  • Mixed Doubles State Championship: Tupelo & New Albany; August 14-16.
  • 18+/40+ Combo Doubles State Championship: Ridgeland & Jackson; November 6-8.
  • 55+ Combo Doubles State Championship: Vicksburg; November 6-8.
  • Tri-Level State Championship: Hattiesburg; September 11-13.

2027 Championships will be in the same cities during the same season. Dates TBD.
