Mark Robbins recieves award from Brian Vahaly

Mark Robbins awarded 2025 Janet Louer USTA JTT Organizer of the Year!

Mark Robbins of Smithville, MS, was selected as the recipient of the Janet Louer USTA Junior Team Tennis (JTT) National Organizer of the Year Award.  Robbins was honored during the USTA Annual Meeting & Conference held in Carlsbad, Calif. 

Robbins has been a Northeast Mississippi Junior Team Tennis coordinator for over eight years, offering year-round youth programming for student-athletes ages 10 to 18, including JTT, Team Challenges and Net Generation. He also works closely with local schools to help increase tennis participation in communities across northeast Mississippi. Robbins is involved in his local CTA and serves as a community coordinator on the Mississippi JTT Committee. 

“Mark’s work is a great example of what makes this sport so special,” said Brian Vahaly, USTA President and Chairman of the Board.

“He’s creating an environment where kids feel welcome, supported, and challenged—and that kind of impact stays with them. We’re proud to recognize his leadership, especially through the success of his JTT program.”

The USTA annually awards the Janet Louer USTA Junior Team Tennis National Organizer of the Year Award to an individual who positively influences children’s lives and substantially impacts their community.  Read more & see the video...
