Mission & Goals
The mission of USTA Foundation is to support, monitor and promote programs that enhance the lives of at-risk children and individuals with disabilities through the integration of tennis and education.
Overview
The USTA Foundation is the National Charitable Foundation of the United States Tennis Association, and is a non-profit entity that is dedicated to improving the quality of life among our nation’s youth and people with disabilities. USTA Foundation encourages children to pursue their goals and highest dreams by succeeding in school and becoming responsible citizens.
The USTA Foundation supports organizations that use tennis as a vehicle to help at-risk children finish high school and qualify for college scholarships, and targets people from all cultural and ethnic backgrounds.
The USTA Foundation is proud of its commitment to ensure that the game of tennis is available to everyone regardless of their ability level. It welcomes organizations that use tennis as a vehicle to instill increased self-confidence, social skills and a sense of camaraderie with each other, the volunteers, and family members.
Grants Overview
The USTA Foundation awards a multitude of grants. The organization offers grants to NJTL programs, individual players, coaching education grants, as well as scholarships to individual players.
To date the USTA Foundation has granted more than $47 million in program services, grants and scholarships to hundreds of programs, benefitting thousands of children and adults through tennis, education and health curricula.
