May is National Tennis Month! Register an Event!
The USTA and the Governor of Mississippi have declared that “May is National Tennis Month!”
To celebrate tennis in the month of May, we're encouraging tennis facilities, CTA's, NJTL's, and Parks & Rec Organizations to HOST AN EVENT to promote tennis and your organization!
If your organization would like to host a tennis event open to the public and register it on the USTA Serve Tennis platform, you will be eligible to receive $300!
Read the instructions below, and register your event by April 15!
2024 instructions
- Each host receives $300 per approved event upon completion. Up to four (4) events are available for funding per organization, for up to $1200. The event must be open to the public.
- New for NTM 2024! To receive funding, your event must be in Serve Tennis and register a minimum of ten (10) participants. Participants can register in advance or onsite.
- Register event by April 15 to be reviewed for approval.
- Submit follow-up reports, including mandatory photo/s, showing the NTM event. Submit within 10 days after your event. Submission link to be provided later.
STEP 1:
Please register your event in Serve Tennis using the NTM event module instructions, which includes numerous helpful training modules. Also, write NTM STA in the Your Reference field.
When in Serve Tennis, you will be asked to select one of these activities. (If your event doesn't fit into one of the below, use "Open Play.")
- Bring a Friend Group Lesson
- Try a Tennis Class
- Cardio Tennis
- Racquet Demo Day
- Open Play
STEP 2:
Click here to fill out the mandatory USTA Southern registration form to receive $300 per event for up to four events.
Deadline is Monday, April 15. Registering will also allow USTA Southern to promote your event.
