MTA mourns the passing of Jim Warren, MTA President 2015-16

Mississippi tennis lost one of its champions this past Monday.  We are all grieving with his wife Malinda, family and the entire Southern tennis community.

Besides being a highly accomplised and respected attorney in Jackson, Jim was an incredible volunteer for USTA Mississippi, Southern and the naitonal committee structure.  Jim was currently serving on the Southern Tenns Association Board of Directors.   Randy Jackson, President USTA Southern was quoted stating; "Jim was a very active and conscientious board member who often reached out to board members with encouragement and offers to assist.  He aslo had a strong interest in making USTA Southern a more diverse and welcoming organization.  He was our Board's Diversity Advocate".
